- Gibson House, a historic home that serves as a local landmark, showcasing Civil War era architectural styles and the home’s ties to the Underground Railroad. This site has a highly recommended Underground Railroad tour.
- Avenue of 444 Flags & War On Terror Veterans Memorial, attached to the page of American history by the Iranian hostage crisis, view one of the largest displays of American flags flying anywhere in the world day or night plus a memorial to those who fought to end the war on terror.
- Kidd’s Mill Covered Bridge, Mercer County’s only remaining covered bridge, was constructed in 1868 by the Smith Bridge Company of Tippecanoe City, Ohio. It’s the only one of Smith’s patented bridges still standing east of Ohio.
- Dr. Frederick Raisch Log Cabin, operated by the Mercer County Historical Society, this historic one-room pioneer era (1790-1810) log cabin has been preserved in a park along the Shenango River near the Erie Extension Canal Lock No. 10 as a museum.
