Tara is Open!
Temporary adjustments to our services are necessary during this global pandemic:
It is our promise to you that we will follow all protocols required by law and suggested by the CDC, American Hotel & Lodging Association’s #StaySafe Initiative, the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Promise, and Select Registry recommendations.
In an effort to keep you, our other guests, and our staff as safe as possible we will be asking you to follow all orders and guidelines set forth by the federal and state government, as well as CDC. We will require all guests to wear masks when in public areas inside the building. Afternoon Tea will be delivered to your guestrooms; however, you can feel free to enjoy in other areas of Tara, as long as you observe social distancing guidelines.
Following recommendations by lodging associations, we will be following a “no-touch” policy in your guestrooms. Turndown service and “stay-over” housekeeping service for multiple-night stays are currently suspended. We will be happy to provide fresh linens or other amenities as needed on a tray outside of your door.
The restaurants in Pennsylvania are now open at 50% capacity. Because of social distancing guidelines we are currently opening only Stonewalls Tavern. Ashley’s Gourmet Dining Room and our famous Sunday Brunch will open in the future with enhanced safety protocols.
The spa at our sister property, Buhl Mansion is now open and offering most of its services with enhanced safety protocols. Please contact them directly at 724-346-3046, to make reservations.
To protect our staff and other guests, we ask that if you have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 within the past 14 days, have traveled outside of the US, or have a fever, cough, tightness in your chest, lack of taste and smell or any other symptoms related to Covid-19 that you do not visit us until you have been cleared by a physician.
By confirming your reservation, you agree to follow the laws and guidelines set forth by the state and federal government, you acknowledge that you are traveling at your own risk and that you will hold harmless Tara A Country Inn employees, management, and owner.
We are really looking forward to having you stay with us. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we all work through this “New Normal” together. We will do everything in our power to make sure that your stay is comfortable and safe. We will keep a close eye on government regulations and update you with any changes.
We await your arrival.
